Sila FC grasp their 3-2 victory over Jealous Down FC

Sila FC finally breakthrough their three months of starvation after they successfully defeat their Kasi rivals in Zenzele (ward 12) Ward Tournament that took place on the 16th June 2022. With the first and last goals of the match from a 18 year-old Jealous Down FC forward and former Sila FC player Lewis Nani. The Zenzele Ward tournament champions dominated the 1st and 2nd half but had to work hard to secure their win after months with their first strike from a staggering freekick on the 32nd min of the game by a 21 year-old winger Mogomotsi Mahuma; then followed by two Tap-Ins from Tshepang (20) and Simon (22) to finalize their three goals for the day.

The Ward councilor Mr Ben Mashaba was there to witness the promising
future of young individuals, as he was responsible for handing out prizes
to the finalists. The tournament was purposely hosted to celebrate the Youth Day
and act as some form of remembrance to the events that took place in 1976. Sila
FC orchestrated their first Ward tournament win under the management of their
new Assistant coach and club's caretaker Mr Nkoliso Buqa.
